HOPE In Our Community

Helping Other People Eat In Our Community is our food parcel program for those who are elderly or struggling to make ends meet. HOPE began in June 2016 and has helped over 800 clients from many walks of life and different ethnicities.
Every box receives staple items of milk, oats, with two variants of pasta & canned tomatoes or rice & baked beans. This is self funded by our church family.
Through the generosity of a local bakery we also give out fresh bread. Additionally we also give fresh produce from local plantation owners and our local Woolworths.

We are open Tuesday Morning, 9:30am – 12pm

Ways you can help:

  1. Give a love offering in an envelope marked “Food Parcels”
  2. Give dry goods towards the pantry. Our pantry needs are: long life milk, home brand oats, pasta, canned tomatoes, baked beans and rice
  3. Volunteer your time.

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”                                                                      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬
